How Play Therapy Can Help Your Child:
Children struggle with a variety of issues such as: depression, anxiety, family problems, loss, self-esteem, ADHD or anger. Children often communicate the effects of these problems in different ways than adults. Some ways your child may communicate distress is through physical symptoms such as stomach aches or headaches. Another way children communicate that they are struggling emotionally is through acting out inappropriately at school or home. Poor academic performance is yet another symptom of a child experiencing stress.

If you notice these symptoms in your child, play therapy may be beneficial to aid your child in working out his or her struggles.
